LVC - KOI2626.01 Collection
In 2012,Lauren Steel, formerly known as Lauren Victoria Craig, founded LVC, an independent fashion label. The KOI26626.01 Collection - F/W 2015/16, was presented for Berlin Fashion Week in collaboration with the Lavera Showfloor.
The collection was inspired by the planet KOI2626.01, which is 13 lightyears away from earth. It orbits a red dwarf star that exudes a dim bordeaux light. One side of the planet is always in darkness, the other always in light, creating a rim around the planet of an everlasting sunset. All the plants are covered in black leaves in order to survive under their star.
